Henry's room, is right off our kitchen, and close by our room. It's probably a tad mature for him, but with it being right off the main rooms of our home, I couldn't exactly put a Lightning McQueen bed in here. :) So, its got some little boy flair and still keeps with the mostly-neutral color scheme of our house.

Henry's 3rd Birthday: A Paw Patrol Party
For the past 3 years, we have celebrated our Henry's birthday a bit early, over Mother's Day weekend when we are at home visiting family. I love being able to see my hometown friends, and to get our children together.
Henry's first birthday party at my parents' house is here: http://www.maggiegriffindesign.com/2014/06/henrys-1st-birthday-party-animals.html
And our Gainesville party is here: http://www.maggiegriffindesign.com/2014/06/henrys-radio-flyer-party.html
And his second is here: http://www.maggiegriffindesign.com/2015/06/my-henry-turns-2.html
My Henry loves Paw Patrol, so a Rocky-Chase-Marshall-Zuma party seemed apropos!
He loves our little friend Kennedy - she sweetly obliges when he squeezes her. :)
Mrs. Jan McCord made Henry's "red" cake. A shared favorite of both mommy and Henry! It think its just precious! She always does a beautiful job in helping us celebrate all of life's occasions.
My sweet friend Linsey Freeman did these adorable Paw Patrol cookies that are just as delicious as they are pretty! Henry thought the Marshall faces were so fun to eat!
As usual, Henry ended up in the pool! And a few of the other kids did too. ;) He has brought more light and joy to our lives that we ever knew he could. David and I look at him and listen to him every day and are so thankful for our blessing. He's so smart, and kind, and head-strong, and we love him so much it hurts!

My House Tour: Henry's Room
It has been wonderful having Henry's room so close to ours. He's a great sleeper, but on those "off" nights, having him right next door has been great.
Even though he's 2 and a half, he's still in a crib. I can't bear to take it down yet, and he's perfectly happy and contained which is worth a lot. :)
His crib was floating in the middle of the room at our last house, but this space has a nice long wall where it fit well.
My grandparents' old American Flag hangs over the bed behind Plexiglass.
We rock Henry at night and say our prayers, which is the sweetest time. He's happy still doing this whole routine and so is his mama and dada!
It looks quite green in this pic, but the wall color is my tried-and-true: Coastal Fog. I love the greige tones and it works so well with his stuff.
Henry's got his own little bathroom where we do our night time routine too. He loves bath time and could stay in for an hour if I let him!
Hope you guys enjoyed my little one's space! I'll be sharing our guest rooms next.
