My Nursery Mood Boards

So the time is nearing to find out what Baby Griffin is! We'll be finding out on Christmas day with our families back home! I wish I had a strong feeling one way or another...I'm leaning towards boy, but you never know!

As a designer, over the years I have of course thought about this little room at length – long before I was to really become a mommy. I want to use things that will grow with our little one…things that will move to a more sophisticated room. Right now, I am thinking of a neutral palette of greige and cream with accents of either pink or blue. I am dying over a baby bedding line that constructs all of their pieces out of Belgian linen!

Right now, the walls in the room we'll use as the baby's room are Benjamin Moore's Coastal Fog. I really do love the color - I know it's atypical for a nursery, but that's ok. I'll be bringing in softer baby colors by painting the ceiling and through the bedding.

Here, I've got four mood boards. Two boy versions and two girl versions. These certainly aren't set in stone, and I could change my mind any minute - you know us preggie girls!

My House Tour: Christmas Version

With our Christmas party taking place in early December, it gave me incentive to get our house prepared for the holidays so that we can truly enjoy it for the month. I crafted away and made many wreaths and picked up many pine cones and wrapped many fake and real gifts. :) I cut lots of holly and evergreen to tuck around the house, and had the Christmas music going 24/7. It's been a great first Christmas so far, and we couldn't be more excited for Christmas 2013 - hard to believe we'll have a 7 month old by then!

This post is pretty self-explanatory, so I won't commentate - but I do hope you enjoy seeing it all!
