A Family Office Space

I loved working on this room! It was an empty space, with nothing that seemed to help the form or the function that this sweet mom of 3 knew that her family needed.

Now, its a room with functional cabinetry for mom, dad, and the 3 kiddos. I love the fun shade of green-gray on the cabinetry with pops of orange in the new window seat. And the fun brass hardware really pops against the color of the woodwork. A few Britt Bass prints on the wall keep it lively!
Acrylic desk chairs and a rustic pendant light highlight that "mix" that I love to do...spice things up with the unexpected piece!

Enjoy!

She always amazes me with the way she captures my spaces!

A Delightful Dwelling II

Continued from last week (see previous post), here are the bedroom spaces of the beautiful house I have had the pleasure of refreshing for these darling clients. With a growing family, and almost-5 grandchildren, these grandparents wanted spaces where their family could come and stay. If I were a guest here, it sure would take a lot for me to leave!

We created 4 bedroom spaces where their children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends can stay for holidays, weekends, and family celebrations. I wish I had "before" photos of the rooms, but just picture drab white boxes and you get the general idea. ;)

ps. as always, many thanks to Alexandra Haynes for the gorgeous images!
