Little Girls' Room reveal and Phase II Mood Boards

For some time now I've been working with the most adorable little family! The clients are about my and my husband's age, and they have the cutest, most precious two little girls. We've been working on the whole house in phases, and finally I have something to show you! Before Christmas, we worked on mood boards for the living spaces and a plan for the girls' rooms...and through phase I and phase II we've got some fun things happening!

Here are the boards for Phase II - it's coming along! We're still pulling things together, so as we get more accomplished, I will share it with you all!

Their little girls love pink! The baby's room is a pale pink and we used this soft room as a sort of inspiration for her little space.

The toddler's room incorporates pink too, but in a more fuschia tone - here's our inspiration for that space.

This precious tutu clad ballerina is running through her baby sister's room - this is the "before" image of the bed (she'll eventually grow into this bed, but for now, the baby is in a baby bed on an adjacent wall). The walls were already painted a super soft pink with white trim. Perfect for what I had in mind for her little space! ;)

And here's the after!
We chose the prettiest palette of soft pinks and grays with whites and a punch of bright pink for the custom bedding.

I love these fabrics! They will really be able to grow with her!

A crisp white matelasse spread and sham keep things clean - and are super easy to pop in the wash!

I had window treatments made to coordinate with the bedding, as well as a soft pillow for the glider. The bamboo shades give them some privacy while still allowing the sunlight to filter through.

And now onto the older sister's space.
It was time for the little ballerina to graduate from the baby bed to a transitional twin bed.
Here's the before:

And before our new window treatments:
**Here's a good look at the fun color combo already in her room as well - soft gray walls and a raspberry ceiling. **

We were working with lots of color - the room's occupant is a lively, darling, spunky little princess!
The rug has vibrant colors represented in it.

And now, the after!
We chose to really play up the crispness found in graphic patterns for the toddler's room - white and raspberry ikat window treatments are so chic!

Again, the bamboo shades give the privacy mommy and daddy desired, but give that nice filtered light as well. The ikat fabric will be able to transition well too.

A funky Greek key pillow now graces her polka dot chair.

The little pink bed is a bevvy of fun patterns between the sweet sheets, the pennant patterns, the bolster, and the euro. The white spread and shams keep things from becoming too busy.

In addition to the little girls' rooms, we had some fun pillows made for the family room's large sectional. I love the colors!

Stay tuned as we keep working on this young family's fun home!
