Hope you guys didn't miss Friday's post on Style Me Pretty over the weekend!
My brother and sister in law's rehearsal dinner was featured....and to say this girl is honored is a maja understatement! I am tickled pink! Or in this case, tickled blue and white! ;)

I am so excited that Style Me Pretty featured this event - it was so fun for me to plan and execute! And the wonderful Ashlee Culverhouse never ceases to take the loveliest photos.
I did, however, want to offer a bit more detail on the night.
When my super-mom and I were planning this party for my darling brother and his fabo fiance, we chose our mutual love for blue and white china as the inspiration. Since the wedding weekend was planned for late August, we gravitated toward anything that subliminally portrayed a cooler temperature...and the crisp color combo of blue and white seemed just the thing.
With a stroke of luck, we had the most mild weekend - it was lovely and so pleasant...not at all typical for August in South Georgia!
Here are many of my favorite shots of the night:
As guests arrived, shepherd hooks with hanging lanterns lined the pathway into the air conditioned tent.
Teak lounge pieces created a conversation spot near the bar.
Macon Tent Company did an extraordinary job in keeping the event both beautiful and laid back with the pretty white tent, complete with bronze chandeliers to light the evening.
Long tables set end to end created banquet style seating. Natural wood chiavari chairs marked each guests' seat.
The table linens were a textured ivory floor length cloth paired with an ivory linen napkin.
We pulled pieces of blue and white from my house, my mother's house, my aunt's home, and my grandmother's house. Tureens, compotes, tall vases, bowls, and pitchers lined the middle of the tables. A touch of silver was mixed in through silver buckets and julep cups.
Both antique and contemporary pieces of blue and white table ware were used.
The flowers were mostly white hydrangea, a favorite of the bride. Added to the lush white blooms were white roses, lime bells of Ireland, white lilies, and white daisies.
I designed the paper suite from the invitation, to the place cards, to the menu cards. But I'll post about that process later this week.
Traditional glass hurricanes and plenty of glass votive candles were sprinkled in with the floral arrangements.
My friend Linsey designed and created the adorable favors. The deer were a nod to my brother's love of hunting, and the tag reads "The Hunt is Over".
Large lanterns and classic white lilies greeted guests and displayed the seating arrangement.
What's more classic than matches as a party favor?
Blue cocktail napkins were placed on the bar, and coordinated with the colors of the night.
Honeycomb wedding bells on the front door served as a happy greeting to guests during the wedding weekend.
The beautiful couple!
Stay tuned for more on the paper goods later this week!
This is absolute and utter perfection!
