I was delighted to design the wedding for my cousin Katie! We worked hard on honing in her "rustic chic" wedding vision, and I think it really showed!
Getting married on the family farm in Kentucky was a definite. She and her groom are laid back and wanted to portray that in their fall-hued wedding.
Hand made touches were everywhere. Here's my pretty cousin Gracie at the entrance to the ceremony site.
The farm was the best site for photos - gorgeous black fences, rolling hills, a small lake, and bright white barns made for beautiful photo ops.
Here's the bridesmaids and the bride being sassy for pics. :)
Their gray chiffon dresses paired with cowboy boots pulled in the rustic chic look.
In front of the barn doors...
The bridesmaids' bouquets were a mix of whites and golds - I used gold alstroemeria, gold roses, white hydrangea, and gray dusty miller conveyed a look of lusciousness and hand-picked goodness.
The horse barn made for lovely family photos after the ceremony

Along the aisle, I lined shepherd hooks and hanging vases filled with amaranth, white hydrangea, hypericum berries, gold roses, and gold alstroemeria. They really made the aisle!
The bride's father built the wooden arbor for the ceremony site. I covered it in grapevine with white lilies and white hydrangea tucked in the stems. It was so pretty!
The reception site featured a large white tent for dining, and cocktail tables en plein air for passed food before diner.
A sweet sitting area with recovered antique family pieces made for a fun photo spot too.
Arrangements from the rehearsal dinner sat atop the cocktail tables.
The wedding cake was not only beautiful but delicious too! It was covered in brown orchids and yellow roses.
A soft aqua was an accent color to the golds and gray of the wedding decor.
The caterer did a beautiful display job! And the food was wonderful too!
Mini- peanut butter pies served as the grooms cake.
Here are my two handsome dates for the weekend!
An old Amish buggy served as a spot for gifts. How charming?!?
I absolutely loved the bride's bouquet! Made of hydrangea, berries, dusty miller, orchids, roses and ranunculas, it was so gorgeous!
Hope you enjoyed the tour of these wedding events for Katie and Justin!
