Do you guys remember this post?
The 4 downtown Athens apartments I was working on?
Well, I finally got a peek into one of the units, and had to share!
The 4 units share a common stairwell and outdoor space. The stairwell was beaten up pretty bad pre-renovation, and the outdoor space was, well, not a desirable place to hang out.
Remember?
Now, its safe and chic, too!
A new metal stairwell connects several of the units, and a poured concrete floor makes for a safer patio.
That's one unit at the top of this metal landing.
And two more are featured to the right, at the end of this hallway.
The stairwells now feature a soft neutral paint, re-finished pine floors, and vintage-style lighting.
This is what the hallway looked like before:
Opposite these units, the largest unit is entered on the left, at the top of the steps from the street.
I love that many of the historical elements were kept: exposed brick, unfinished wood, and reclaimed beams.
The corner unit is my favorite!
Here it is before:
The new finishes look fantastic!
The college girls have it decorated really cute!
I love the kitchen! The lighting, hardware, cabinet color, walls, and appliances make for a gorgeous combination!
Many of the window casings are original.
I love the exposed brick in this bathroom.
This bedroom gets lots of wonderful light!
This was such a fun, rewarding project and I had a ball being on the renovation team!
