A Farm Wedding in the Spring

I recently did the flowers for a wedding near my hometown....the bouquets, bouts, ceremony site, and centerpieces....it was a ton of fun! I love the way everything turned out.

The bride and groom are super special to me...I am so lucky to count them as friends! When I am with them, it's always evident how much they love each other.

THE fabulous Ashlee Culverhouse captured their big day way better than I ever could, so DON'T miss her gorgeous photos and special words about the wedding here

Here are a few of my quick pics from the day:
The bouquets and bouts were a monochromatic delight with a touch of pale pink and gray

Blue hydrangea and white hydrangea GALORE!

I loved using color for the flowers in the reception site, a barn. It added a color punch and really captured the bride's sweet, charming, bubbly personality.
A mix of blue hydrangea, purple alstromeria, hot pink roses, and orange gerbera daisies all mixed with delicate Maiden Hair ferns.

You can see a tiny peek of the ceremony site here. Hay bales lined with fabrics, old tablecloths, and family heirloom blankets were placed for guests to sit. The father of the bride built us a wooden frame from branches gathered on the farm. From it, I strung a ticking stripe fabric and a thick, lush lemon leaf garland. The aisle was lined with shepherd hooks stuffed with hydrangea.

The centerpieces for the reception site were a mix of terra cotta pots, simple glass vases, and gorgeous wooden boxes that the father of the groom made.

Lavender sachets were left for guests to grab as a parting gift. The sweet painting (made by the talented mother of the bride) served as a guest book for the bride and groom.

A few more detail shots of the wedding

The bride and her sisters - three of my best friends!

The bride's walk was long, but gorgeous!

Here's a peek at the "program" for the day, by the mother of the bride herself!

Don't miss more from this fantastic day here
