Nursery Reveal

What do you get when you combine a best friend + baby boy on the way + an empty nursery = DREAM PROJECT
:))))

To say this one has been fun would be a maja understatement.
Working with my fabulous friend on her baby boy's new room was too much fun!
She's got fabo taste, but any excuse for us to play together is good with me....and we had a ball!
One shopping trip down, a few mood boards made, and poof! It was planned.

Here's the finished product:

Lots of precious family pieces, antiques, and contemporary accessories give the room a totally fun, preppy, moderne feel.
I'm obsessed.
I'm pretty sure we'll be hanging out in here from here on out. ;)

Charcoal gray walls give the room the most amazing backdrop....I love the color. A cream and white buffalo check combined with the gray and cream deer silhouette fabric are a perfect nod to the new parents and their fun style.
A creamy linen glider and the antique rug are perfect places to play and snuggle.
An Auburn jersey pays homage to the parents' alma mater, while the tortoise shell lamp and other organic pieces nod to the hobbies of the new dad.

Antlers, deer plates and antique paint-by-numbers make a magical combo when paired together above the traditional Jenny Lind bed - made up with a combination of both modern and classic fabrics...a gray and white link print with buffalo check ties and brown and blue tartan plaid.

An antique shelf holds books, animals, and sentimental pieces

The mid-century-style dresser provides much-needed storage as well as a place to change diapers. Cobalt blue gourd lamps sing against the gray walls.

I love the pairing of the antique blue and white china, metal porthole mirror and stark white deer head

Gorgeous colors in the antique rug

A sweet print pulls in the family's adorable black lab

An antiqued bamboo etergere holds special things for a special baby boy

A few detail shots:

Much love and many prayers for this precious family as they welcome their baby boy into the world!
