Pink, Gray, and Cream Nursery

I am so excited about my best friend Amy's baby girl, I may as well be the one expecting!
I've shared with you her adorable baby shower, and now here's her delightfully pink nursery reveal.
We had SO MUCH FUN planning this room....shopping at Scott's, selecting family pieces, and choosing fabrics. Gosh, how awesome is my job!?!?!
Getting to do this with my best friend is just THE BEST!

The walls were already painted a soft gray, so those were staying.
Obviously pink would be wall-to-wall, so we chose shades of soft, dusty pink that can grow with the little princess, and compliment the wall color.

For me, the graphic punch in this room really comes from the pink and white buffalo check on the windows. I just love the tailored valance and long draperies with the bias edge.

Amy chose a pink glider and ottoman with white piping for contrast. A white ceramic garden seat, silver floor lamp, and comfy pillow make this corner baby-ready.

The contemporary light fixture adds just the right amount of mod, emitting a soft glow.

We found the beautiful antique secretary at Scott's...it's the perfect place to display those special baby things. And will really be able to grow with Amy's baby girl.

A nod to Amy's childhood, an antique rocking horse stands in the space between the traditional white Jenny Lind bed and the secretary.

Fabrics on the bed include a mix of pinks, silvery taupes, and whites.
How perfectly posh for this baby girl.

I love the ruffled edge along the bumper and the pink grosgrain ties.
The striped fabric keeps things from being toooo feminine, and is a nice contrast to the small print on the crib sheet.

Amy's talented MIL painted the adorable bird painting. I love the simple statement of that precious full-bellied sweet bird!

We found this antique gray dresser at Scott's too.

I love the garden style mirrors surrounded by the antique china. And the smoke-glass lamp is a perfect modern touch.

A few more detail shots around the room:

Hope you've enjoyed this nursery tour!
I am beside myself waiting on the little one to arrive!
